Welcome to Mary's
Flowers!
We're taking a trip back to the Victorian Garden and
the experience of life in the era of our great and
great-great-grandmothers.
We have excerpts from the famous Florist
and Pomologist, published by our English gardening
cousins across the sea in the late 1800's. As well, we are including
recipes and tips from The Ladies Indispensable
Assistant, printed in the great city of New
York, in 1852, for ladies under various circumstances.
Life was sweet and tough in those days and we hope you
enjoy the interesting gardening and horticultural tips left to us by
our forebearers who absolutely reveled in producing the
best.
You will also find offers for modern-day gardeners,
flowers for those seeking gifts and other sundries
of interest. These offers keep us cheery-eyed and we hope you find
them useful too.
