We have excerpts from the famous Florist and Pomologist, published by our English gardening cousins across the sea in the late 1800's. As well, we are including recipes and tips from The Ladies Indispensable Assistant, printed in the great city of New York, in 1852, for ladies under various circumstances.

Life was sweet and tough in those days and we hope you enjoy the interesting gardening and horticultural tips left to us by our forebearers who absolutely reveled in producing the best.
